Dhanuka Agritech Q2 Net Profit Rises 16.23% to Rs 109.22 Crore, Revenue Up 9.91%

Dhanuka Agritech reported a 16.23 per cent rise in Q2 FY27 net profit to Rs 109.22 crore, while revenue increased 9.91 per cent to Rs 657.51 crore. EBITDA grew 11.88 per cent, supported by steady seasonal demand and improved profitability.

Dhanuka Agritech Limited reported a 16.23 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 109.22 crore for the second quarter of FY27, supported by improved profitability and steady demand during the autumn farming season. Revenue from operations grew 9.91 per cent to Rs 657.51 crore, compared with Rs 598.25 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The company's profit before tax (PBT) increased 16.27 per cent to Rs 146.47 crore in Q2 FY27, against Rs 125.97 crore a year earlier. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 11.88 per cent to Rs 152.97 crore.

Gross profit stood at Rs 270.77 crore, registering a 6.62 per cent growth over the year-ago quarter. However, the gross profit margin declined to 41.18 per cent from 42.45 per cent in Q2 FY26, indicating some pressure on margins despite higher overall profitability.

Commenting on the performance, Rahul Dhanuka, Managing Director of Dhanuka Agritech, said improved profitability was supported by healthy channel inventory liquidation and steady demand during the autumn farming cycle.

He said the company would continue to focus on building a sustainable, innovation-led growth platform by strengthening its product portfolio, expanding market presence and deepening engagement with farmers.

Dhanuka also highlighted opportunities in the Indian agriculture sector, particularly in improving crop productivity, developing advanced crop protection solutions and encouraging the adoption of innovative agricultural technologies.

The company said continued investment in innovation and farmer-centric solutions would remain central to its long-term growth strategy.
