The 2nd edition of the India Bioenergy & Tech Expo (IBET 2025) will be held from September 24–26, 2025 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, Delhi, bringing together global leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to accelerate India’s transition to clean energy.
The three-day international exhibition and conference, themed “Transition to Net Zero: Need to Scale up Bio-energy Initiatives”, will be inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways.
The valedictory session on September 26 will be attended by Pralhad Joshi, Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Consumer Affairs and Food and Public Distribution, who will also present the India Green Energy Awards. Shripad Naik, Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy, will be the Chief Guest at the plenary session on September 25.
With over 170 senior government officials, industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers participating across 30 sessions, the conference will cover key areas including CBG, ethanol, advanced biofuels, sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), biomass, CCUS, carbon credits, biomobility, and green hydrogen. Around 500 delegates are expected to attend.
Leading companies such as Praj Industries, Reliance New Energy, Verbio, AM Greens, TVS, Hero, Toyota, Thermax, Indian Oil Ventures, Shree Renuka Sugars, NTPC and others will showcase their latest technologies. The exhibition will feature over 100 companies presenting products and services in the clean energy space.
Uttar Pradesh, a frontrunner in India’s bioenergy sector, will participate as the Partner State and host a special session on investment opportunities. Side events like the Farm to Fuel Seminar, CBG plant setup workshops, and buyer-seller meetings are also lined up.
The event is being supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Ministry of Power, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), Department of Science & Technology (DST), and Ministry of MSME, along with leading industry associations such as ISMA, NFCSF, IBA, GEMA, and WBA.
