New Holland, a brand of CNH, has launched its new HD and XHD Series Rotary Tillers (Rotavators) in India, expanding its farm mechanisation product portfolio. The new range was unveiled at the company's Greater Noida facility in the presence of senior company officials, including CNH India President and Managing Director Narinder Mittal.
The HD and XHD Series Rotary Tillers are manufactured at New Holland's Pune facility and have been developed to meet the requirements of Indian farming conditions across different agro-climatic regions and soil types.
According to the company, the new rotavators feature heavy-duty construction, durable components and a multi-speed gearbox designed to support soil preparation and tillage operations under varying field conditions. The equipment is intended to provide flexibility for farmers working with different soil types and cultivation requirements.
The company said the rotary tillers are equipped with a high swing diameter for deeper tillage operations, which can help improve soil conditioning and seedbed preparation. Other features include a Metal Twin-Faced (MTF) seal designed to protect the rotor hub from water ingress and DTM paint technology aimed at improving corrosion resistance.
Tarun Khanna, Director Marketing (Agriculture), New Holland India, said demand for farm mechanisation solutions is increasing as farmers seek equipment that can improve operational efficiency and productivity. He said the launch of the HD and XHD Series Rotary Tillers is intended to strengthen the company's range of farm implements and address evolving mechanisation requirements in Indian agriculture.
Following the national launch, New Holland plans to introduce the new rotary tiller range through dealer-level events across various markets in the country. The company said the addition further expands its agricultural equipment portfolio aimed at supporting modern farming practices.
