The fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026 will be held in Greater Noida from September 25 to 29. The event will provide national and international visitors an opportunity to explore Uttar Pradesh’s agricultural heritage, evolving practices and capabilities across the agriculture sector.
The Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department has been allocated 1,000 square metres at the International Trade Show, where a wide range of stakeholders from the state’s agricultural ecosystem will participate. The exhibition will bring together Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), seed companies, fertilizer manufacturers, agricultural equipment and mechanisation companies, plant protection companies and other agriculture-related institutions.
More than 20 FPOs from districts across Uttar Pradesh will participate in the trade show, providing them with an international platform to showcase their agricultural products and capabilities. Participants will include FPOs from districts such as Aligarh, Sitapur, Varanasi, Lucknow, Siddharthnagar, Kushinagar, Lalitpur, Mirzapur, Hardoi, Bulandshahr, Pratapgarh, Bahraich, Etawah, Ghaziabad, Amroha, Kanpur, Saharanpur and Gonda, among others.
The exhibition will also feature around 40 firms associated with agricultural inputs, including seeds, fertilizers, plant protection chemicals and agricultural machinery. The Uttar Pradesh Seeds Development Corporation and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), South Asia Regional Center, Varanasi, will also participate.
A total of 61 stalls will be established as part of the Agriculture Department’s exhibition. These will include 20 stalls for FPOs, 40 stalls representing agricultural inputs such as seeds, pesticides, fertilizers and machinery, and one government stall.
The participation will provide progressive farmers, FPOs and agricultural companies from Uttar Pradesh with an opportunity to engage with national and international visitors and showcase the diversity of the state’s agricultural sector at a single platform.
The Agriculture Department has also completed arrangements for communication, coordination and supervision of the participating organisations. Joint Director (Bureau/Planning) A.K. Singh has been designated as the nodal officer for overall arrangements. Additional Agriculture Director (Seeds and Farms) Y.P. Singh will coordinate with seed-producing companies, while Joint Agriculture Director (Fertilizer) Harendra Kumar Mishra will oversee coordination with fertilizer companies.
Additional Agriculture Director (Plant Protection) Dr. Ashutosh Kumar Mishra has been assigned responsibility for agricultural protection chemicals, while Joint Agriculture Director (Engineering) Balram Verma will coordinate with companies manufacturing agricultural equipment and drones.
Through its participation in the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show, the Agriculture Department aims to provide visitors with a closer look at the state’s agricultural products, technologies, farmer-led enterprises and evolving agricultural ecosystem, while giving farmers, FPOs and companies an opportunity to connect with a wider international audience.
