India's largest private sector dairy company, Hatsun Agro Product Ltd (HAP), reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, driven by robust demand across its diversified dairy portfolio and an expanding retail network.
The company recorded revenue from operations of Rs 3,090.49 crore during the quarter ended June 30, 2026, registering a 19.31% increase over Rs 2,590.28 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 133.69 crore, while EBITDA reached Rs 353.59 crore.
With this performance, Hatsun crossed the Rs 3,000 crore quarterly revenue mark for the first time in its history, translating into an average monthly revenue of over Rs 1,000 crore.
Commenting on the results, Chairman R.G. Chandramogan said the company entered FY27 with strong momentum backed by its flagship brands, operational efficiency and a resilient business model. He said the company's broad product portfolio across multiple categories and price points has enabled it to sustain growth while strengthening its market position.
During the quarter, Hatsun sold 153 crore consumer packs, supported by its 22 manufacturing facilities across six states and a distribution network of more than 4,700 exclusive retail and distribution outlets. The company said the scale of sales reflects its ability to cater to consumers across rural, semi-urban and urban markets.
HAP's product portfolio includes brands such as Arun Icecreams, Arokya, Hatsun, Milky Moo, HAP Daily and Ibaco, along with newer offerings in chocolates, confectionery, whey drinks and cattle feed.
The company procures milk directly from over five lakh farmers, forming one of the country's largest private dairy procurement networks. It said continued investments in manufacturing, distribution and product innovation have helped strengthen consumer trust and support sustained business growth.
Hatsun said it will continue focusing on innovation, wider market reach and operational excellence to create long-term value while meeting evolving consumer demand across India's dairy sector.
