Indian Potash Limited Wins Accolades at Kandla & Vizag Ports

Indian Potash Limited has been honoured as ‘Top Importer’ at Kandla Port for FY 2025–26 and received an Appreciation Certificate at Visakhapatnam Port under the ‘Importer (PSU)’ category.

Fertilizer major Indian Potash Limited (IPL) has been recognised for its outstanding import performance at Kandla Port in Gujarat and Visakhapatnam Port in Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of International Customs Day 2026.

IPL has been conferred the ‘Top Importer’ award for fiscal 2025–26 at Kandla Port, Gujarat. The award was presented on 15 February 2026 at the IFFCO Auditorium, Gandhidham, by Nitin Saini, Commissioner of Customs, Kandla. The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Narayan Joshi, Padma Shri awardee from Kutch.

On behalf of IPL, Mr Jatin Shah, Sales Officer, Kutch, IPL Gujarat, received the award.

In addition, IPL received an Appreciation Certificate at Visakhapatnam Port, acknowledging it as one of the highest performers under the ‘Importer (PSU)’ category for 2025. The award ceremony was held on 16 February 2026 at the Sagarmala Convention Hall, Salagramapuram.

The certificate was presented by Chief Guest Shankhabrata Bagchi, IPS, Police Commissioner, Visakhapatnam, and was received by Ms Aptakama Sarangi, Deputy Manager, Port Operations, on behalf of Indian Potash Limited.

These recognitions underscore IPL’s sustained commitment to operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and transparent trade practices. The twin honours reflect the organisation’s capability to manage large-scale import operations while maintaining high standards of governance and process discipline.
