Innoterra, a Swiss-Indian food and technology platform has announced a significant expansion of its subsidiary MilkLane’s Aayush Cattle Feed business. The company is launching two new premium products, Aayush Supreme and Aayush Vardhan, aimed at the high-end market segment.
The new feed varieties, offering 22 percent and 24 percent crude protein respectively, are designed to provide superior nutrition at competitive prices. Developed with extensive research and enriched with bypass fat, protein, yeast, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals, these products promise to enhance milk quality and cattle health, leading to improved yield for farmers.
MilkLane, which currently serves over 10,000 farmers, 250 retailers, and 50 distributors, plans to double these figures by FY24-25. The company operates automated plants in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu and aims to add two new plants by FY2025 to meet rising demand and extend its reach.
The expansion will see MilkLane's Aayush Cattle Feed increase its distribution network across South and West India, with plans to strengthen its presence in Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. Future expansion targets include Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
"Expanding MilkLane’s Aayush Cattle Feed into the premium segment highlights our dedication to improving cattle nutrition and supporting farmers across India. With the launch of Aayush Supreme and Aayush Vardhan, we are combining advanced technology with traditional methods to offer high-quality, affordable products. Our goal is to double our network of farmers, retailers, and distributors by FY2025 through the addition of two new production plants and an aggressive growth strategy. This expansion will not only address the rising demand for premium cattle feed but also strengthen our mission to help smallholder farmers, increase milk production, and enhance the national food supply chain. We are committed to driving innovation and expanding our impact in India’s agricultural sector."
