Agrizy Upgrades Innovation Lab to Speed Up Food Product Development for Global Brands
Agrizy has revamped its Food & Beverages Innovation Lab to strengthen R&D and accelerate product development for global brands. The upgraded facility combines advanced formulation capabilities with GenAI-powered innovation, enabling faster commercialization across functional foods, plant-based nutrition, sports nutrition, healthy snacking and other high-growth food and beverage segments.
Agrizy, a technology-led Contract Research, Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CRDMO) for global food, beverage and wellness brands, has revamped its Convenience Food & Beverage Innovation Lab to strengthen its research and development capabilities and accelerate new product development from concept to commercialisation.
The upgraded facility comes as food and beverage companies increasingly seek science-backed, customized products across high-growth categories such as functional foods, nutraceutical beverages, clean-label formulations, plant-based nutrition, protein products, healthy snacks and personalised nutrition.
According to the company, the enhanced laboratory is equipped with advanced product development and pilot-scale manufacturing capabilities that support formulation development, pilot trials, product validation and commercial-scale production. This enables brands to reduce development timelines and bring new products to market more quickly while maintaining quality and consistency.
Agrizy said the revamped lab works in tandem with its GenAI-powered formulation studio, allowing customers to develop product concepts, simulate commercial manufacturing conditions at an early stage, optimise formulation costs and minimize multiple development iterations. The company added that the integrated platform has helped accelerate innovation, contributing to the launch of more than 30 products over the past year.
"Our customers are looking beyond formulations to partners who can support product innovation, technical validation, scale-up manufacturing and commercialization under one roof," said Vicky Dodani, Co-founder and CEO of Agrizy. He said strengthening R&D capabilities had become a strategic priority as the company expands across product categories and international markets.
Agrizy said the upgraded infrastructure will enhance its ability to serve both domestic and international brands by developing products tailored to regional consumer preferences while meeting global quality and commercialisation standards across Asian and international markets.
The company has also incorporated sustainability measures into the upgraded facility, including maximizing ingredient utilization, reducing development-stage waste, evaluating sustainable ingredients and supporting environmentally responsible packaging solutions.
Founded in 2021, Agrizy partners with more than 300 food, beverage and wellness brands across over 20 countries. The company said the latest investment is expected to improve project conversion rates, strengthen customer retention and accelerate commercialization for customers in India and overseas.
