Sonalika Records Highest Ever August Sales of 12,581 Tractors

Sonalika Tractors, the tractor brand of International Tractors Limited (ITL), recorded its highest-ever overall sales for August at 12,581 tractors, with the company estimating that its growth was 1.9 times the overall industry growth during the month.

The performance comes in the company’s 30th anniversary year and reinforces its momentum in the financial year 2026-27. Sonalika said the strong sales were supported by its product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities and market responsiveness, as it prepares for increased farmer demand during the upcoming festive season.

Alongside the sales milestone, Sonalika achieved its highest-ever monthly production of 18,067 tractors at its integrated manufacturing facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The company said the record production reflects its preparedness to meet rising demand and maintain product availability across markets.

The company is focusing on its “Dumdaar” tractor range, led by its new Gold series models. Its vertically integrated manufacturing operations allow greater control over quality and enable the development of tractors tailored to specific regional and farming requirements.

Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director, International Tractors Limited, said the company’s record August sales and production demonstrate strong alignment across its value chain. He expressed confidence that the manufacturing capacity, product portfolio and dealership network would help Sonalika capitalize on the upcoming festive season.

Sonalika has also launched its annual festive campaign, “Heavy Duty Dumdaar Dhamaka,” offering customers opportunities to purchase its tractors during the peak buying period.
