Market leaders in the development sector and technology will host their respective events at charcha ‘23. Google will lead conversations on ‘tech-4-good’, along with a hackathon for tech students and professionals. LinkedIn will convene sessions related to skills-first thinking for livelihoods. Reliance Foundation is hosting dialogues on the future of livelihoods including 21st Century Skills in Education, Skilling for the Sport Sector, Agri Innovations and Entrepreneurship in the Wake of the Fourth Industrial Revolution), a company press note said.
The other tracks related to building resilient livelihoods by leveraging technology and supporting social entrepreneurship are being hosted by prominent organizations such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (Gender), KPMG (Ending Ultra-poverty), Generation India (Employment and Retention), G.A.M.E. (Entrepreneurship) and Masterclasses in Livelihoods from the Lens of Identity by Tata Steel Foundation, Collaborative Philanthropy by the The Bridgespan Group, Large-scale Social Transformation by The/Nudge Institute and Catalytic Funding for Social Innovations by ACT.
Discussing why charcha ‘23 is a G20 | Startup20 event, Dr. Chintan Vaishnav, Chair, Startup20 and Mission Director, Atal Innovation Mission - NITI Aayog, stated, “charcha ‘23 is a livelihood convening under the aegis of the G20 | Startup 20 platform for entrepreneurs, start-ups and practitioners innovating to create resilient livelihoods for India and the world. charcha is bringing together a strong lineup of speakers and partners this year, including thought and business leaders, problem solvers and policy makers. charcha ‘23 is definitely a compelling convening for those in the livelihood ecosystem”.
charcha ‘23 will be an exclusive in-person gathering of over 100 speakers and 700 livelihood professionals and distinguished members from civil society, policymakers, changemakers, philanthropists, academicians, entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate leaders.
