The “Rural Voice Agriculture Conclave and Awards 2025,” organized by Rural Voice, a leading media platform focused on agriculture and rural India, is going to begin soon at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

This year’s theme - “Towards Self-Reliant Farmers, Atmanirbhar Bharat” - underscores the growing national push for farmer empowerment, technological advancement, and resilient agricultural systems.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will grace the event as the chief guest. He will also present awards to the achievers selected by the Rural Voice Award Jury. The conclave is expected to bring together leading voices from the farming community, policymakers, corporate leaders, agri-innovators, and scientists.
Among the distinguished participants are Prof. Ramesh Chand, Member, NITI Aayog and noted agricultural economist; Dr. M.L. Jat, Secretary, Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE) and Director General, ICAR; Dr. R.S. Paroda, Chairman, TAAS and former DARE Secretary & DG, ICAR; T. Nandkumar, former Agriculture and Food Secretary; Dr. Chandrapal Singh, Vice Chairman, KRIBHCO and President, ICA Asia-Pacific; K.J. Patel, Managing Director, IFFCO; and Dr. Rajendra Barwale, Chairman, Mahyco Pvt Ltd.
The day-long event will feature three thematic sessions designed to address the most pressing issues in Indian agriculture. The first session, “Prosperous Farmers: Role of Innovation & Technology,” will explore how modern tools, digital solutions, and scientific breakthroughs can enhance farm income.
The second session, “International Trade & Self-Reliance,” will focus on global market trends and India’s strategy for strengthening its agricultural exports while ensuring domestic resilience.
The concluding session, “Enabling Policy and Effective Implementation,” will examine the role of governance, schemes, and institutions in accelerating agricultural development.
The conclave aims to foster informed dialogue, recognize excellence, and inspire a shared vision for a more self-reliant and prosperous farming sector.
