DR R S Paroda gives reasoning for fixing MSP at C2 cost plus 50 per cent

Paroda, who is amongst the nation’s most renowned agricultural scientists and policy makers and former DG, Indian Council for Agricultural Research(ICAR) and Chairman, Trust for Advancement of Agricultural Sciences(TAAS), feels that Minimum Support Price(MSP) should be decided at one and a half times the C2 cost. He said this while answering a question in a long video interview with Rural Voice. In the same answer, Dr. Paroda also mentioned the recommendation for MSP fixing by Dr. M.S.
