The fourth Rural Voice Agriculture Conclave has commenced. On the occasion of Farmers' Day, the ongoing 'Rural Voice Agriculture Conclave and NACOF Awards 2024' at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, has the theme ‘Institution Building for Farmers.’ On this occasion, the latest edition of the 'Rural World' magazine and its website were also launched.

The fourth Rural Voice Agriculture Conclave has commenced. On the occasion of Farmers' Day, the ongoing 'Rural Voice Agriculture Conclave and NACOF Awards 2024' at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, has the theme ‘Building Institutions for Farmers.’ On this occasion, the latest edition of the 'Rural World' magazine and its website were also launched. Farmers, cooperative institutions, private sector organisations, and public institutions that have made remarkable contributions to the agriculture sector will also be honored at this event. Additionally, Rural Voice has entered its fifth year of establishment today.

Welcoming all the guests at the event, Rural Voice Editor-in-Chief Harvir Singh highlighted the importance of the theme ‘Building Institutions for Farmers.’ He stated that the existing institutions in the agricultural sector have been instrumental in achieving the current milestones in the country. However, times have changed, and considering future needs, this conference has been organized to discuss the necessary changes required moving forward. 

The Rural Voice Agriculture Conclave includes four panel discussions and a concluding session. The first session focuses on ‘Next-Generation Cooperatives for Next-Generation Agriculture’. The second session will discuss ‘Private Sector: Farmers' Participation’. In the third session, experts will share their experiences on the topic of ‘Public Institutions for Farmers’. The fourth session of the conclave will focus on ‘Enabling Policy Environment for the Growth of Institutions for Farmers’. These sessions will deliberate on increasing farmers' income, providing them access to markets, promoting the rural economy, building supportive institutions, and empowering them.

The program will see participation from Uttarakhand's Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Union Agriculture Secretary Devesh Chaturvedi, Secretary of the Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Fisheries, Alka Upadhyay, IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U.S. Awasthi, KRIBHCO Chairman Dr. Chandrapal Singh, President of Indian Dairy Association Dr. R.S. Sodhi, former MP and Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister of Bihar, K.C. Tyagi, along with farmers from across the country.
