Crystal crop protection launches insecticide for Maize and Soybean

Crystal Crop Protection Limited, a leading agrochemical organization, has announced the launch of its latest insecticide, Proclaim XTRA, specifically formulated to protect maize and soybean crops. The innovative insecticide is designed to combat a wide range of caterpillars, particularly Spodoptera spp., including the notorious Fall Armyworm, ensuring prolonged crop safety and maximizing yields for farmers.

Proclaim XTRA is a versatile contact, systemic, and translaminar insecticide, formulated as an EC (emulsifiable concentrate) that provides rapid and long-lasting control over caterpillar pests. The insecticide paralyzes and kills caterpillars upon contact, preventing them from causing further damage to crops. Additionally, it disrupts the metamorphosis process of the insects, stopping them from progressing to more damaging life stages.

Farmers are advised to apply Proclaim XTRA at specific stages of crop growth for optimal results. For soybeans, application is recommended between 30-60 days and 60-90 days after sowing, while for maize, spraying should occur between 11-25 days and 26-60 days after sowing. A 15-day interval between sprays is essential for maintaining its effectiveness. To support the product’s launch, Crystal Crop Protection Limited will also provide training programs to guide farmers on the correct and safe usage of Proclaim XTRA.
