Mother Dairy Launches 'Promilk', Forays into Protein-Rich 'Pro' Portfolio

Mother Dairy has announced its entry into the protein-centric dairy segment with the launch of its new ‘Pro’ product range. The company's debut product in this segment is "Promilk," a high-protein milk variant designed for everyday consumption.

Speaking on the occasion, Manish Bandlish, Managing Director of Mother Dairy, said, “In today’s fast-paced world, maintaining a well-balanced diet is more vital than ever, with protein serving as a cornerstone of overall health. However, studies indicate that 70-80% of Indians do not meet their daily protein needs, despite its availability in various forms and formats. At Mother Dairy, we embraced this challenge by designing a Pro range of products for everyday solutions that seamlessly fit into one’s routine without requiring any behavioural changes.”

Promilk, the first product under the ‘Pro’ range, is a poly-pack milk variant offering 30% more protein, providing 40 grams of protein per liter. It is formulated with natural milk protein and is fortified with calcium and vitamins A and D. Mother Dairy emphasizes that Promilk is easy to digest, boasts a superior taste, and can be used in various daily preparations like curd, chaach, tea, and coffee.

Mother Dairy plans to expand its ‘Pro’ portfolio with other protein-rich dairy staples, including paneer and curd (both pouch and set curd). This expansion aligns with the company's commitment to catering to the evolving needs of consumers.

“As we strive to strengthen our protein-based portfolio, we will soon be introducing a diverse range of protein-rich dairy products, including paneer, curd, and more, for the consumers,” Bandlish added.

Promilk will be available across Mother Dairy’s extensive distribution network in the National Capital Region (NCR), including both offline and online channels, in a phased rollout. The company will also launch a comprehensive marketing campaign to raise awareness about the new product range.
