KRIBHCO and IMS Ghaziabad Organized National Declamation Contest to Mark ‘IYC 2025’

Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO), in collaboration with IMS Ghaziabad, organized the Inter-Institute National Declamation Competition on July 3, 2025, at IMS Ghaziabad. The event was held to commemorate the International Year of Cooperatives 2025 and centered around the theme, "Cooperatives: Driving Inclusive and Sustainable Solutions for a Better World."
The competition brought together more than 400 student participants, which included over 100 registered contestants from premier institutions. Industry experts also shared their powerful perspectives on cooperation, inclusion, and sustainability through compelling speeches and oratorical excellence.
The competition was graced by the presence of Kapil Meena, IAS, Director (Media & Publication), Ministry of Cooperation, who attended as the Chief Guest. Meena appreciated the initiative's role in engaging youth in meaningful discourse around cooperative values. Special Guests at the event included S.S. Yadav, Director (HR), KRIBHCO; Balasubramaniam ('Balu') Iyer, Regional Director, ICA-AP; and Dr. Prasoon M. Tripathi, Director, IMS Ghaziabad. Their presence further added stature and inspiration to the gathering.
A distinguished jury panel, which included eminent personalities from the domains of public relations, academia, finance, and media, evaluated the performances. The competition was conducted in two rounds. After a preliminary screening of over 100 students, more than 53 students participated in the first round, out of which 8 finalists were selected to compete for the top three positions in the second round.
The winners were awarded prizes of ₹51,000 for first place, ₹31,000 for second place, and ₹21,000 for third place. A cheque for the respective amount was handed to the winners by the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the program.
The event was jointly organized by KRIBHCO and IMS Ghaziabad, with Dr. V.K. Tiwari, Joint General Manager (Marketing & Public Relations) of KRIBHCO, and Dr. Prasoon M. Tripathi, Director of IMS Ghaziabad, serving as the conveners of this mega event.
