The country's new Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has taken charge. On Tuesday morning, Shivraj Singh first planted a sapling. After that, performing the ritual, he reached his office and took charge of the Agriculture Ministry. Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who held power in Madhya Pradesh for a record time, has been given a big responsibility at the Center this time. In the third term of the Modi government, he has been made the Minister of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare and Rural Development. At the same time, reacting to this big responsibility given to him, he has said that he will discharge this important responsibility with full devotion. 'Every dream of farmers will be fulfilled'

After taking charge on Tuesday, Shivraj Singh Chauhan shared pictures on social media platform X and wrote, "I express my heartfelt gratitude to the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for entrusting me with the important responsibility of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare and Rural Development Minister of the Government of India. Strong and prosperous farmers are the basis of a prosperous India. The priority of the government is the welfare of farmers and the upliftment of villages. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, we will fulfill the huge resolutions of developed India and give our best contribution to the development of rural areas." 

Home and Health Minister took charge

Apart from Shivraj Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah has also taken charge. He has started his second term as Home Minister. Before taking charge, Shah reached the National Police Memorial. Here he paid tribute to the martyred policemen. After this, he reached the Home Ministry and took charge. At the same time, BJP President JP Nadda also took charge in the Health Ministry. During this, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Jadhav Prataprao Ganpatrao was also present with him. Nadda was also the Minister of Health and Family Welfare in Modi's first cabinet from 2014 to 2019.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has also started his second term as Foreign Minister. He signed the first file at the Ministry of External Affairs located in South Block. At the same time, Ashwini Vaishnav has taken charge as Railway and Information and Broadcasting Minister, Giriraj Singh as Textile Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar as Energy Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri as Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister, Chirag Paswan as Food Processing Industries Minister and Suresh Gopi, the first BJP MP from Kerala, has taken charge as Minister of State for Tourism.
