An official order was issued by the Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution stating that the procurement, which was originally scheduled to start on October 1, 2024, will now begin today, September 27, 2024.
According to the statement issued by the Haryana Government, the state government had requested the Central Government to start paddy procurement, and the Central Government has agreed to start it. The paddy procurement in the state will take place from September 27 to November 11.
