By pressing the remote button, the Prime Minister transferred more than Rs 21,000 crore to the accounts of more than 9 crore farmers through DBT. The Prime Minister launched and inaugurated various development schemes in Yavatmal.
Before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Modi government had started the PM-Kisan scheme to transfer an amount of Rs 6,000 annually through DBT to the accounts of farmers in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. Till now, the government has transferred a total amount of more than Rs 3 lakh crore in 16 installments to more than 11 crore farmers.
Apart from PM-Kisan, the Prime Minister distributed the installment of Namo Shetkari Mahasamman Nidhi in Maharashtra.
Under this scheme, farmers are given an amount of Rs 6,000 every year in addition to Rs 6,000 under PM-Kisan. In this way, farmers in Maharashtra will get annual assistance of Rs 12,000. The Prime Minister also dedicated several irrigation and infrastructure projects to the nation.
Beneficiary farmers whose PM-Kisan installments have not reached their accounts can inquire on helpline number 155261/011-24300606 m, according to official statements.
To get the installment of PM-Kisan, all the beneficiary farmers must get their e-KYC, land verification, and Aadhaar linked.
Farmers registered under the scheme can get their e-KYC done by visiting the website
https://pmkisan.gov.in or the Common Service Centre. Now farmers can get e-KYC done at home through face authentication under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana app.
