NCUI holds cooperative fair
NCUI has organized its popular Cooperative Fair (Sahakar Mela) 2023 for the third consecutive year at its Campus in Haus Khas in New Delhi. The last two fairs were held on the eve on All India Cooperative Week (14-20th Nov), but this festive season the Sahakar Mela 2023 has been preponed on huge public demand pre-Diwali now i.e., from 3rd-8th Nov 2023.
NCUI President Dileep Sanghani and International Cooperative Alliance (Asia Pacific) President Dr Chandrapal Singh Yadav inaugurated the Cooperative Fair (Sahakar Mela) 2023, being held from 3rd to 8th November 2023, at National Cooperative Union of India complex, Delhi.
During the opening ceremony, many Board of Directors of IFFCO, NCUI’s Chief Executive Dr Sudhir Mahajan and Deputy Chief Executive Savitri Singh along with senior officials of cooperative fraternity were present.

During the Sahakar Mela 2022, around 75 stalls of cooperatives and self-help groups (SHGs) have been set up, with a registered whopping sale of ₹50 lakh during the Fair for the Indian artisans. Around 45 stalls of pan-India lesser-known cooperatives, SHGs & Farmers’ Producer Organizations (FPOs) along with a few attractive food stalls have been set up at the Cooperative Fair 2023 at NCUI Campus.
Delhi-NCR people can shop high quality products at 'fair' prices at Cooperative Fair 2023. Pan-India handicrafts, handlooms & apparel, decoratives, food items etc., from authentic artisans associated with various cooperatives, SHGs & FPOs are available at this one-stop destination - Cooperative Fair 2023.
Supporting the cause of authentic local artisans, NCUI is fully sponsoring Cooperative fair once again providing free stalls, food and lodging facilities to the participating cooperatives and SHGs.
