Satyendra Narayan Singh and Senthil Kumar received Kribhco Awards

At KRIBHCO's 44th AGM on September 12 in New Delhi, Satyendra Narayan Singh of Bihar received the Sahakarita Shiromani Award, and V. K. S. K. Senthil Kumar of Tamil Nadu was honored with the Sahakarita Vibhushan Award for 2023-24. Both were recognized for their significant contributions to cooperative and agricultural development, improving the social and economic conditions of farmers

Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited (KRIBHCO) has honored two eminent co-operators for their impactful contributions to social, cooperative, and agricultural development. During KRIBHCO's 44th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 12 in New Delhi, Satyendra Narayan Singh from Bihar was awarded the Sahakarita Shiromani Award for 2023-24, while V. K. S. K. Senthil Kumar from Tamil Nadu received the Sahakarita Vibhushan Award.

Satyendra Narayan Singh, a prominent figure in the Bihar cooperative movement, was recognized for his decades-long dedication to cooperative development. His notable roles include serving as Chairman of the Bihar State Cooperative Bank Limited from 2003 to 2011 and currently as Chairman of the Central Cooperative Bank Limited. Singh has also made significant contributions to the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), Bihar State Industrial Cooperative Federation, and Bihar State Finance Corporation, reinforcing the cooperative movement and rural development.

V. K. S. K. Senthil Kumar, based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, has been actively involved in the cooperative sector since the 1990s. With a BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an MBA in Human Resources, Senthil Kumar has held key positions such as Vice President and Director of Thudiyalur Cooperative Agricultural Services Limited from 1996 to 2001. Since 2022, he has been a prominent member of the Coimbatore District Agricultural Production Initiative, advancing agricultural and cooperative services in his region.
