ChiniMandi, the largest news and networking portal in the country catering to the sugar & allied industries space, is organising ‘Sugar & Ethanol India Conference (SEIC) 2024. The event will be held on 1st and 2nd February 1-2,023, at Andaz by Hyatt, Aerocity, New Delhi. This is the 3rd consecutive year of SEIC, which promises to be an extravagant gala event. The tagline of the 2024 event is “Iss baar kuch hatke”.

For SEIC 2024, the prestigious MRN (Nirani) Group is the Presenting Sponsor of the event and KBK Group (Renuka Sugar Group Company) is the Title Sponsor. Alongside the Conference, ChiniMandi will be holding its first-ever ‘Sugar & Ethanol International Awards 2024 (SEIA 2024). Organisations and individuals will be celebrated in sheer recognition and acknowledgement of their hard work, contribution, and lasting imprints left on the sugar industry.

The SEIC 2024 Conference assumes greater significance as India leads the Global Biofuel Alliance, and the domestic sugar industry is an important contributor to the country’s Biofuel and sustainability agenda.

The two-day meet, which will take place in February, is important to the country’s sugar production, as the 2023-24 sugar season will be nearing its peak sugarcane crushing operations. There would be enough clarity as to how India’s sugar season is shaping up, and the challenges therein. The ethanol blending programme dynamics in 2024 will be crucial to the overall success of achieving an important milestone of 20% ethanol blending target in 2025.

Speaking about the forthcoming Conference, Co-founder and CEO of ChiniMandi Uppal Shah said, “The Conference will bring together cabinet ministers, bureaucrats, international and domestic industry experts, policymakers, the scientific community, thought leaders and change makers, under one roof to facilitate discussions, dialogues and exploration of the future course in sugar, ethanol etc. The Conference would also provide the largest networking platform in this space.”

The Sugar & Ethanol India Conference has seen stupendous success both in 2022 and 2023. In 2023, the Conference saw more than 650 participants from across the globe. The 2024 SEIC is expected to be an even bigger blockbuster event, with an esteemed line-up of panellists, speakers and moderators.

The Conference promises to give an edge to participants and delegates to get ahead of others by gaining a 360-degree perspective on sugar from both domestic and international viewpoints vis-à-vis sugar balance sheet, international trade dynamics, pricing dynamics, production forecast, weather forecast etc.
