Indus Towers Boosts Rural Connectivity with Significant Tower Installations
In-line with the Government of India's vision to bridge the digital divide and empower rural communities through enhanced connectivity, Indus Towers Limited has installed more than 60 percent of its total addition of towers in rural India in FY24.
In a major stride towards bridging the digital divide in rural India, Indus Towers Limited has reported that over 60 percent of its new tower installations in the fiscal year 2024 have been in rural areas. This move aligns with the Government of India’s vision to empower rural communities through enhanced connectivity.
Dinesh Arora, Director of Projects at Indus Towers, expressed pride in contributing to the Prime Minister’s Digital India mission. "We are proud to contribute towards our Honourable Prime Minister’s Digital India mission and continue to be India’s digital backbone. Our continuous endeavor has been to ensure enhanced project management, identify the right partner ecosystem, and follow stringent quality control for seamless deployment of telecom infrastructure,” Arora said.
The project has been executed under the leadership of Tanvir Singh, Circle CEO Rajasthan, along with key figures like Sandeep Gauba from Strategic Sourcing, Ajay Arora from Supply Chain Management, and Sachin Patil and Rameshwar Bhosle from Operations & Maintenance.

The emphasis has been to focus on expanding digital infrastructure, providing access to rural areas and helping bridge the technology access gap.
