IFFCO Expands Nano DAP Production in Uttar Pradesh, Boosting Daily Capacity to 9.5 Lakh Bottles
IFFCO has started the commercial production of IFFCO Nano DAP Liquid at its Two more Nano Plants at Aonla, Baraily and Phulpur, Prayagraj both in Uttar Pradesh.
Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) has commenced commercial production of Nano DAP Liquid at its two new nano fertiliser plants located in Aonla (Bareilly) and Phulpur (Prayagraj), both in Uttar Pradesh. Each plant is equipped to produce 2 lakh bottles per day, significantly enhancing the availability of this advanced fertiliser for farmers across the country.
With the addition of these two facilities, IFFCO now operates five nano fertiliser plants nationwide, bringing its total daily production capacity of Nano Urea and Nano DAP to 9.5 lakh bottles. This move is expected to improve the supply chain and ensure timely access to nano fertilisers for Indian farmers.
Commenting on the development, IFFCO Managing Director and CEO Dr. U.S. Awasthi said, "After the brilliant response from farmers for Nano DAP Liquid, IFFCO’s Aonla and Phulpur Units have started the commercial production of IFFCO Nano DAP Liquid. The production capacity of both units is 2 lakh bottles per day each. This will enhance the supply of Nano DAP in the country." Dr Awasthi congratulates the teams of both IFFCO Units for this milestone.
Nano DAP Liquid is seen as a game-changing alternative to conventional Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP). Engineered with particles smaller than 100 nanometers, it ensures better nutrient absorption, boosts soil health, and promotes healthier crop growth and higher yields. Compared to traditional fertilisers, Nano DAP is more efficient, sustainable, and environmentally friendly.
IFFCO had earlier pioneered the use of Nano Urea, and the introduction and expansion of Nano DAP production is considered a significant stride in India's journey toward sustainable and self-reliant agriculture.
