The IMD has predicted that heavy to very heavy rainfall will continue over many parts of northwest, central, east, and northeast India for the next seven days. A red alert has been issued for extremely heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand and Jharkhand on June 30. A timely and well-distributed monsoon is crucial for ensuring healthy crop growth and securing agricultural livelihoods across the country.
