Uttar Pradesh Opens Online Booking for Subsidised Farm Machinery; Applications Open Till July 30
The Uttar Pradesh government has opened online bookings for subsidies on agricultural machinery from July 16 to July 30, 2026. Farmers can apply on a first-come, first-served basis under the SMAM and CRM schemes for equipment including drones, farm implements, custom hiring centres, and crop residue management machines.
The Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department has started the online booking process for farmers seeking subsidies on agricultural machinery. Eligible farmers can submit their applications online from July 16 to July 30, 2026, with the entire allocation process being conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
According to the department, interested farmers can complete the booking through the official Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Department portal. The portal also provides details on the list of eligible farm machinery, subsidy rates, eligibility criteria, application procedure, and other relevant guidelines.
The subsidies will be provided under the Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM) and the Promotion of Agricultural Mechanization for In-Situ Management of Crop Residue (CRM) schemes. Eligible equipment includes Farm Machinery Banks, Custom Hiring Centres, agricultural drones, various farm implements, crop residue management machines, crop protection equipment, and other agricultural machinery.
The Agriculture Department has made it mandatory for applicants to deposit a refundable security amount while booking machinery online. Farmers applying for machinery with a subsidy ranging from Rs. 10,001 to Rs. 1,00,000 will have to deposit Rs. 2,500, while those applying for machinery carrying a subsidy of more than Rs. 1,00,000 will need to deposit Rs. 5,000. The security deposit will be refunded as per the scheme guidelines.
To prevent duplicate applications, the department has stipulated that only one booking token can be generated using a single mobile number. However, farmers may use the mobile numbers of their immediate blood relatives—including parents, siblings, sons, or daughters—if required.
The initiative is aimed at promoting farm mechanisation across the state, improving access to modern agricultural equipment, and encouraging efficient crop residue management through subsidised machinery.
